Last Week:

We went to Bergshamra and played a very well coached Bulls team that gave our offense everything they could handle. Luckily our defense played up to standard and got a shutout as we came away with a hard fought 17-0 victory. The game was a positive in the injury department as we rested many banged up players and did not sustain any further casualties.

THIS WEEK:

On Sunday, one of the series favourites, Örebro rolls into Tyresövallen for what should be a very exciting game. This game will feature a lot of speed on the field and many of the league’s biggest hitters. It promises to be a fun game to watch. Örebro comes in off of a tough tight loss against the three-time defending champion Carlstad team, so we will certainly be facing a motivated bunch on Sunday.

On offense, we are still very banged up at running back. We will need to develop a more consistent passing attack in order to alleviate the pressure from the RBs if we are going to move the ball on Sunday. The passing game may get the boost it needs from the return of Simon Almgren as he comes closer to being 100%. We feel that our offense is loaded with talent, but we still don’t feel that we have clicked and played our best game. Sunday would be a great time for things to come together on this side of the ball.

On defense, we get a couple of key defensive linemen back this week so we should be ready to put our best group on the field to try to stop David Ingram from creating havoc with his arm and feet.Our approach as always will be to pressure the quarterback and to keep him out of his comfort zone. We cannot allow Ingram time to find Stål and Andersson downfield. This will be the key to the defense’s success or failure on Sunday.
